While our focus is teaching Biblical stewardship and building ministry endowments we understand the bigger picture. Please join us in praying that our work will result in more laborers being sent into the harvest field.
Praise
Please rejoice with us as we acknowledge the work of God through the ministry of Eternal Vision. The following are a few of His blessings toward us:
- Our personal discipleship work with Christian families has resulted in some exciting results for the Kingdom of Heaven. We have met with several Christian individuals and helped them create a Lifetime Stewardship Strategic Plan that responsibly cares for their personal and family needs and maximizes their eternal rewards through ministry gifting. To God’s glory, from the small handful of initial families we have met with thus far, more than $4.5 million in new giving is now headed to Bible-believing churches and ministries!
- Jim Rollick and his family arrived in Watertown on June 29, 2007. We are looking forward to his work as our Director of Curriculum Development. Stewardship curriculum is a vital part of our ministry!
- Our first seven Leadership Meetings went very well. Our presentation was well received and there was positive interaction with those in attendance. We have been invited to move ahead in four of these, with two more pending—both of which look positive. Unfortunately, God has closed the door in New Hampshire as the school board there has voted to close the school. We are working with the school board to assist them with helping other ministries receive a blessing from the difficult decision they have made to dissolve the ministry. This reality illustrates the precarious financial condition of many Christian schools across America and intensifies our burden to bring financial solutions to these worthy ministries through solid Biblical stewardship training and building ministry endowments to stabilize their financial status.
- We have completed seven Leadership Meetings this summer with Christian school ministries interested in initializing our endowment building process. Pray that God will lead in each of these ministries as we meet with their leadership teams:
- Sommersworth, NH – complete
- Wixom, MI – complete
- Findlay, OH – complete
- Huntsville, AL – complete
- Watertown, WI – complete
- Muncie, IN – complete
- Green Bay, WI – complete
- Seaford, DE – complete
- Geigertown, PA – complete
- Kankakee, IL – July 24, 2007
- We introduced our new program called Treasure Builders to pastors of several Wisconsin churches in May. The Treasure Builders program is designed to help local churches provide Bible-based financial stewardship training to senior adults. We thank God for excellent feedback and look forward to scheduling meetings in area churches in Beloit, Chetek, Greendale, Lake Mills, and Watertown.
- We thank the Lord for answering our prayers through the generosity of several Christians who have made some generous gifts to our ministry. These gifts make it possible for us to expand our ministry impact.
Prayer
Please pray with us. The following are some specific areas of personal need we ask you to pray for.
- The sale of Matt Davis’ home in Clearwater, FL and Jim Rollick’s home in Geigertown, PA
- Pray for our Board of Directors and Educational Advisory Committee.
- Workshops we conduct at Great Lakes Educators Conference in September.
