2007 has been an outstanding year for Eternal Vision. As we have stepped out by faith, God has moved in many hearts, walls are being rebuilt and a re-energizing work of God is being established in the area of Christian education. We can already see the beginning of the long-range fruit of our work, including strengthened Christian school ministries with a commitment to quality; many more responsible young families having access and ability to educate their children in a quality Christian school; and churches with a renewed commitment to Christian education and to the equipping of the saints through stewardship education and training.

I am beginning to understand that the ministry of Eternal Vision is poised to have a major impact on the Christian school movement in America. In fact, I believe God will bring a revival in Christian education that will be characterized first by the return of conviction-building preaching about Christian education from church pulpits, followed by a greater commitment to Christ-centered education by Christians and ministry leaders, and a re-positioning of financial resources by God’s people as ministry partners to accomplish the task.

For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. Proverbs 1:32

How often has it been illustrated that “the prosperity of fools shall destroy them”? The same is true for foolish Christians who spend time and effort to obtain training on how to build wealth to the exclusion of Biblical counsel on how to use wealth. The Christian must heed God’s instructions on the use of the time and treasure God has apportioned to him and ensure he is not destroyed in his usefulness for God by his “trust in uncertain riches.”

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
