Please rejoice with us as we acknowledge the work of God through Eternal Vision, Inc. We continue to praise the Lord for His goodness. The following are a few of His blessings toward us:
  • Matt Davis is now in town and working with us full-time. He and his wife Dana, and their three boys, are a special blessing, and answer to prayer.
  • We have received inquiries from Churches with Christian Schools from the following states:
    • Alabama, Delaware, Illinois (3), Indiana (2), Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin (6)
  • We have scheduled our first meeting in our process (Leadership Meeting) to initialize our ministry in a Church/school in Findlay, OH; Wixom, MI; and Tomah, WI and are setting up additional meetings in Huntsville, AL; Watertown, WI; Green Bay, WI and Seaford, DE during the next couple of weeks.
  • We are making good progress on establishing our Board of Directors (5-7 members). Confirmed members include:
    • Darrell Beernink, Vice President (retired), State Farm Insurance, Normal, IL
    • John Davis, Director of Alumni Services, Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Watertown, WI
    • Mike Duffy, President, Eternal Vision, Inc., Watertown, WI
    • Invitations have been extended to two other prospective members
  • Progress is also being made on establishing our Educational Advisory Committee (9-13 members). This group is part of the governance structure at Eternal Vision, Inc. Confirmed members include:
    • Ken Wilber, Owner and CEO of Wilber and Associates, Bloomington, IL
    • Darrell Sanders, President of Precept Marketing Group, Elverson, PA
    • John Brock, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Watertown, WI
    • Invitations have been extended to several other prospective members
  • A very important gift from a long-time friend. Kathleen is wheel-chair bound, and has been most of her life. She share with me her great blessings from the Lord on the phone one day, then sent us a gift of $10 to help with the start-up of Eternal Vision, Inc. This was a major sacrifice from her very limited budget, yet, she gave out of a heart of joy. What a blessing, and what a challenge. I praise the Lord for friends like Kathleen!
Please pray for us. The following are some specific areas of need.
  • Wisdom for the many decisions we face
  • The sale of Matt Davis’ home in Clearwater, FL
  • We have a commitment for our Director of Curriculum Development to join our staff in early summer. This move will depend on funding commitments over the next few months.
  • We need to raise significant funds for each of the next two years to facilitate our start-up and move us toward a self-sustaining status.
  • Pray for those with whom we have shared our financial need, and for some upcoming meetings.
  • Pray for those considering positions on our Board of Directors and Educational Advisory Committee.
  • Wisdom for a decision about participating for those whom we have extended invitations to as prospective members of our Board of Directors and Educational Advisory Committee.
  • Pray for the Leadership Meetings with ministries that have invited us to begin our ministry to them.
